Chukwudi Chiaghana obtained his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, after which he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at University of Florida. Following graduation, he completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Chiaghana was Summa Cum Laude and awarded the Georgia Rotary Student Program for his academic ability and leadership qualities. He has had a broad range of research interests over his career, including mammalian cell metabolism, molecular genetics, orthostatic hypotension, and liver transplantation. He has published peer-reviewed articles on spinal hematomas, diaphragmatic hemiparalysis, and acromegaly. In 2019, he authored an article on Emergency Airway Management in Anesthesia and Analgesia.
Currently, Dr. Chiaghana lives in Springfield, MO where he both practices pain management and general anesthesia.
